I’m 71 years of age and, here I am at home in UK where I’ve lived since 04/02/1970, happily retired and listening to a talent that the world lost prematurely.
I distinctly remember the very first time I heard ‘Acqua Azzurra, Acqua Chiara’ playing out from a Jukebox from a bar I was at in Ostia, it was a beautiful May Sunday morning in 1968. (I think)
I was hooked and still am. Lucio was and still is a friend, his music accompanied me over the years through good times and bad ones. I can’t say I miss him as we all know he shied away from exposure but, his music lives on.
