I treasure the ravioli or fettuccini I made with Nona Rosa on Sunday. It certainly wasn’t Milanese Peck-type agnolotti, dainty pillows of perfect looking and tasting wonderful ness. But it was hers, and she did the best with what she had. She did have a garden and grape arbor so we always had fresh basil and homemade wine. And she wasn’t using San Marzanos. But it was good, the memories are good. Nothing beats eating in La Bella Italia though.

I couldn’t say which dish is my favorite, but their chicken Marsala is at the top of my large list of favorites. It is well worth a trip to East Boston for a wonderful meal. It is close to Boston’s Logan Airport, so it is always a stop for us as we return from a trip.
